Ever find yourself always searching for the best deal you can find while shopping Amazon and never sure if you’re getting the bargain you were hoping for? Well, look no further! We’ve researched some ways to help – here are our top 9 tips:

  1. Google search ~ If you’ve found the item you’ve been searching for and are ready to purchase, take a minute, open up a new tab and do a Google search on your product. This allows you to search several sites and is one of the best ways to check that your product isn’t cheaper elsewhere.
  2. Today’s Deals ~ The ‘Today’s Deals’ link on Amazon’s site should be the first place bargain seekers go! Located conveniently below the search bar, it’s a great spot to begin your bargain shopping adventure.
  3. Vouchers ~ A great deal is made even greater with a coupon! Amazon has a section dedicated especially to such a thing. In the search bar on the home page, type vouchers. You’ll then be directed to a results page where there will be a yellow link to take you to the sites daily dose of coupons! Alternatively, you can click here.
  4. Postage ~ Found the deal of the century? Added to cart, proceeded to checkout, about to purchase…what?! {Insert outrageous shipping cost here.} Not getting the deal you had originally thought, are you? This is where we go back and see 1 or 5. Google search will bring up other prices and shipping costs. Or, if you have Amazon Prime, shipping is usually free or minimal if you want an expedited delivery.
  5. Amazon Prime membership ~ New to Amazon? That’s okay, we won’t judge if you’ve been living under a rock. If Amazon is something that you plan on using frequently, Prime is completely worth the monthly or annual fee. A Prime membership includes free shipping on orders. Purchasing from Amazon two – three times per month without purchasing a Prime Membership (meaning you pay full shipping costs) usually pays the monthly fee.
  6. Shop another country’s Amazon Site ~ It never hurts to look around. If it’s a big-ticket item you’re after, another country may sell it and ship it for a cheaper price. It’s always worth looking into.
  7. Subscribe & Save ~ You can subscribe to several home products on Amazon. Meaning, you sign up to receive the products at the same time monthly or however often you’d like. This way you don’t have to remember what you need each month and when. Amazon does the work for you! When this is done, the price for individual items goes down a bit.
  8. Buy used / check out other sellers ~ While Amazon does offer several great buys, there is always the chance that other sellers may be able to beat them on price. Also, if you’re not opposed to a used item; lightly used and still in great condition products can often be found, saving you a few quid in the process.
  9. Amazon Warehouse ~ Looking to buy in bulk? Amazon Warehouse has you covered. Use your Prime benefits while still ordering large quantities of product with … you guessed it! Free shipping!

We sincerely hope that you found this write up helpful in finding the bargains you were looking for. A dandy reminder for us all would be to not always jump on the first deal we see. There could always be something better right around the corner!
