There’s a nifty little extension called Gener8 which lets you earn money from your internet browsing activity. It takes seconds to install on your browser, and then all you do is surf the web as normal.
Right now the extension is on Firefox and Chrome with plans to launch on Safari too. You can only use it on a computer/laptop at the moment but Gener8 is looking to make it available on mobile devices in due course.
Basically you earn tokens from the ads that you see online, with those tokens having a monetary value. Not only that, you can also earn tokens by referring friends.
Start by signing up and filling in your preferences as you’ll receive tokens faster. That’s because advertisers pay more money to show adverts that you’re interested in. Basically, Gener8 matches your preferences to the ads and those are the ones you’ll see.
When you decide to exchange your tokens, you get the option of money (Amazon vouchers), products or to donate to charity. Right now, there are 10,000 people earning from Gener8 with the average user earning between 5 to 10 tokens a day, so it could soon add up.
